The small charming Hotel San Giorgio is centrally located in Bergamo, just 5 km from Bergamo airport and approx. 500 metres from the station in the district of Bergamo Bassa, where you will find many shops and restaurants and a cable car that goes up to the old town Bergamo Alta. There is free parking at the hotel.
When entering the hotel, you will be greeted in the elegant reception by welcoming staff. There is a small bar here and some antique furniture. There is an elevator which takes you to the the roof terrace where you can enjoy the breakfast buffet with views. It is not possible to eat outside but the side windows of the room can be removed so you get the feeling of being outside in the summer. The views from here over the town of Bergamo are wonderful. There is some traffic noise here, especially in the morning.

- The 30 rooms are divided into single rooms, double rooms (mostly), triple and quadruple rooms on two floors. Facilities include TV, small refrigerator, Wi-Fi (free) and fan. All rooms have a bathroom with a toilet and shower. Two bedrooms (double bedrooms and a room with four beds) have a dividing door, and are therefore ideal for families. The windows are double glazed, so that rail traffic and road traffic noise is almost inaudible.
Note: There is one room with four beds. If it is already occupied when you make your booking, we offer the same price for two double rooms. Rooms with four beds or two double rooms are suitable for families of four.
Hotel San Giorgio lies central, near the old part of town. Staff is kind and helpful.
The hotel is great compared to the price. The location is within walking distance to the centre and only 20 min. drive to the airport.

The hotel's location is ideal for sightseeing. On foot the cableway and within 15 min to the Old Town.
The room was small but clean. The breakfast room is high up the roof and allows great views of the old town.
Parking space is very limited - was by motorbike but no problem.

We stayed for one night at this hotel when we landed in Bergamo airport. The hotel was fine and the reception was friendly. Breakfast was simple, but we were satisfied. The hotel room was suitably chilly and pretty.
