Hotel Asnigo is something that dreams are made of. This elegant hotel seems to float on a hillside over Lake Como with spectacular views of the lake and the town of Cernobbio below. The centre is only approx. 2km away. The views alone are worth the trip but in addition, there is an inviting swimming pool with a very nice terrace.
The architectural style is Art Nouveau, and the location above Cernobbio is most peaceful. You can walk down a path which is a shortcut to town and it takes approx. 15 minutes. The ascent is steep and can be difficult especially if it has been raining. Alternatively, it is approx. 6 km to Lake Como's largest town of Como. There is parking on the other side of the street up a ramp or in the garage (for an extra fee) and alternatively free public parking is available approx. 200 metres away.

You can enjoy relaxing days at the medium-sized swimming pool which sits in front of the hotel in a very panoramic position. There are of course, sun loungers and parasols. Inside there is a reception, a bar, an elevator, and a restaurant and bar under the vaulted ceilings in the basement so plenty of opportunity to grab a cool drink and a meal.
Guests usually leave the panoramic restaurant at Hotel Asnigo Le Terrazze reluctantly! You cannot really blame them at all and when you dine there you will appreciate the intimate romantic atmosphere, the excellent service, evocative candle-lit settings and of course fantastic food first-hand. The panoramic view of the lake from here is quite mesmerizing, which at night becomes even more magical with the many lights that glisten in the streets and alleys in the distance. You can also choose to dine indoors, from where there is also a nice lake view. The breakfast is buffet style.
