Hotel Centrale is also a good starting point for excursions. Among other things, you will find the 16th Century villa Villa d'Este only approx. 400 metres from the hotel.

Swim in the pool or sea

Hotel facilities include both a reception, a bar, a large communal terrace and private parking. 100 m from the hotel is a public swimming pool with sun beds, etc., and if you are seeking a sea-beach, the closest is approx. 2 km away. The hotel is, as the name suggests, very central, which also means it is on the busy coastal road Via Regina - and yet the peaceful old town and the cosy lakeside promenade are just 100 metres away.

Bright rooms

The 22 rooms are nice and bright and all have satellite TV, a mini-bar, a telephone, air conditioning, wi-fi, a safety deposit box and a bathroom with a toilet, hair dryer and a shower. Some rooms can accommodate one or two extra beds. There is no lake view from the rooms, although the lakeshore just is approx. 100 metres away. Note that the road in front of the hotel is the main road around the Lake and it becomes easily congested, so traffic noise can be heard during busy times.

Holiday in Cernobbio

The hotel lied very centrally, but was still very peaceful. We got a room in a newly built part. It wasn't big, but ok.

We were informed that they had a really good restaurant by In-Italia, but it has been closed since January, which In-Italia should've known.

The pictures of the hotel doesn't match the reality either. The yard with the tables is never used. It looks lovely in the pictures, but they aren't any tablecloths on the tables, or any parasols.
