Piazza Garibaldi is the center of Colico and is situated with a view on Lake Como. Here you can find various restaurants, ice cream parlors and cafes. Take a stroll along the lakeside promenade. Your children can play in the small urban playground.
Many travel to the North of Italy by car and in Colico there are ferries and a train station. Therefore, you can leave your car behind and use public transport. By train you can reach Varenna in about half an hour and the center of Milan is about 1.5 hours away. With the ferry you can visit the many and beautiful cities along the shores of Lake Como.
Beautiful beaches can be found in the idyllic bay of Piona in the hamlet of Laghetto, south of Colico, and in the lido in the town center.
