The location is right between the train station and the town centre. That same centre offers an abundance of restaurants, bars, terraces and gelaterias. To the lake’s shores it is only a short walk and to the beaches you can either rent a bike at reception, take a bus or go with your car. In season take note that parking will be difficult as anywhere in Italy. At serveral places around the lake’s shore or beaches you can do watersports. From windsurfing to renting a sailing boat or you can even try renting a stand up paddle board if you are up for it.
If you are a bit in the mood for cycling, we do recommend you to rent a bike and cycle to Sempione. Around the lake you also find lovely bicycle tracks with just stunning views over the lake and the mountain ranges in the back.
Now we know the hotel is quite simple and the interior is a bit dated, though the staff working at the hotel is very attentive and the hotel provides the following services. There is a little outdoor terrace in front of the hotel to enjoy your coffee from the bar in the morning before you head out to the lake. If you need to plan your excursion on your laptop, there is wifi connection in the lobby.
