This lovely hotel in the north of Lake Como almost feels like a spa hotel with a panoramic landscaped swimming pool, and rooms with balconies & stunning lake views. It is within walking distance to Gravedona's cosy lakeside promenade and restaurants.

Hotel Regina instils calmness and mental well-being to all who visit her! The hotel is an oasis where couples without children can enjoy a tranquil holiday and the wonderful lake views. There is a swimming pool on a deck reaching out to the lake, and great rooms with balconies.

Best for couples without children

It is located on the outskirts of Gravedona, with a fine view of the lake and Gravedona town, and is within a short walking distance to the centre of the charming town (approx. 400m). Since the hotel is on the lakeside, there is a sloping driveway leading from the coast road which is a little steep. The hotel is definitely best suited for couples and more mature tourists, but there are however a few triple rooms and children are welcome at the hotel. There is free parking on-site for all guests.

The outdoor swimming pool

The swimming pool is located directly on the lake, and enjoys stunning lake views. There are sun loungers and parasols for everyone to enjoy the lovely sunbathing area around the pool and another grassed area for lounging just above the lakeside. From here there is access to the public pebbly beach on the lakeside, which can be used by guests and locals.

Both breakfast and gym

Inside the hotel, there is a reception area, a small gym with views overlooking the lake and a breakfast room where the breakfast buffet is served. Breakfast can be taken inside or outside depending on the weather.

Wine Cellar Crotto Regina

Hotel Regina has its very own wine cellar on the other side of the road in very historic surroundings. Wine tasting evenings can be arranged for groups of 4 or more people, and products from the local region are on sale.

Five great days at Hotel Regina

Hotel Regina has a amazing location just towards the lake, the facilities and service is out standing. A bit uneven electricity from the power-resort in the late hours.

Lovely breakfast buffet and happy and smiling staff. Outdoors area is fine with pool and sitting area at the lake with nice sunchairs and umbrellas for everybody.

The only disadvantage is, that you have to go to one of the cities to find a restaurant or a pizzaria.

Nice place, relaxed and with perfect location

Our first vacation in Italy started out with a 3 days overnight stay at Hotel Regina - and what a great start. Super hotel with the most amazing location. Even more beautiful than pictures can show. We upgraded the room with a big balcony and sea-view. It was not that expensive and really a good decision, cause the view was just over the top. The service was personal and super. Hotel Regina is a 3 star hotel - but it should at least have 1 star more to add.

A restaurant on site would be desirable.

The hotel lies just down by the water and therefore has a wonderful view. The rooms are pretty and the staff is sweet and accommodating. Only minus is the private beach, which absolutely needs some love, before it can be used optimally. A clean up of the few meters of beach would help tremendously and raise it to perfection.

A stay at Hotel Regina equals peace and idyll. A fantastic location with the most wonderful view over the Lake Cosmo. The rooms are small, but choosing a groom with a balcony and lake-view is golden.
During our stay in week 30, the weather chose to show it's best side = 37 degrees in the shadow. During such a heatwave with 30 degrees at night, it is a big minus not having an A/C or ceiling fans in the rooms.
The hotel is only a breakfast hotel, where you can get drinks and coffee the while day. It would also be lovely if you could get sandwiches or salads.
