If a spectacular view of the lake and mountains is high on your list of holiday priorities, then Hotel Europa is a great choice for you. It is a most popular choice for those wishing to fully experience and explore this wonderful area, and the weloming hosts and great facilities are a real bonus.
The hotel has in recent years become a popular hangout especially for groups of British hikers, due largely to the fact that some of the many interesting walks in the area start right outside the door of the hotel. Breakfast has become an interesting social meeting point for groups to discuss various options regarding routes for the day ahead. The area is also popular for mountain biking, and Domenico and Sofia who run the hotel are happy to provide some interesting ideas in respect to routes for both hiking and biking, and excursions in general.

The location between the lake and the mountains is ideal in the sense that it guarantees a varied holiday: the hotel is located just a few minutes' walk from the town centre of Limone, about 350 metres from tennis courts and 550 metres from Lake Garda and a sailing school. You can enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the mountainside location, be near enough to a pleasant town with shops and restaurants, and participate (if you are the active kind) in a variety of activities. Otherwise, sit by the pool and relax, and soak up the spectacular views.
The restaurant serves fresh vegetables and fruit from their own garden to the fullest extent possible, and on Sundays there is often fresh fish which is usually caught by local fishermen. Due to the lack of space, the terrace is reserved for a la carte diners. However, other guests can also enjoy their dessert and coffee on the terrace if they prefer to be outside. The view from inside the restaurant is just as nice though. The hotel has a small reception on the first floor, where there is a lift to the other 3 floors. There is a bar, a restaurant, a large terrace with a lake view, swimming pool with sun loungers and parking, which can be used for a fee. During the high season the car park fills up quickly, but there is a larger one in Limone just a short walk away.
The 50 rooms are very simply decorated and all have bath with shower, WC and hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV and a safe (charges apply). Most rooms face the lake, while a few rooms face the mountain, which are sometimes preferred by guests since there is less traffic noise. All single rooms face the mountain and do not have a balcony.

We booked 5 days prior to departure. In-italia recommended us a room in this simple but very hospitable hotel from 8.8. to 15.8.
Rooms are small, functional and clean. We spent very little time in the room because there was so much to see and do.
Breakfast was very good. What it does not have, you can order. Eggs etc. I would have been happy with a more fruit options. Only two sorts of fruits were available.
The owners and staf are very hospitable and nice. For those who want it, there is space at the swimming pool to relax. We stayed mostly on the seaside and the lakes. 100 meters down from the lake, there are many great shops and restaurants.
We have eaten every evening in around the lake, as we like to be independent and free and to try out different cuisines. It has enough opportunities to eat from cheap to cheap.
In the hotel there was a fixed menu and most of the guests have eaten there.
The value for money balance is absolutely correct.
I think we will go back for holiday.
I am 52 years old with my daughter 18 years old, we are very lively and hungry :)
We are a young couple in our 20's, who enjoyed our stay! The owners are helpful with everything you could need! A room with a balcony towards the lake is definitely recommended. The breakfast and dinner was absolutely perfect - especially the salad bar.
We can only recommend the lovely Hotel Europa. The hotel is smaller and in a bit older style - but the atmosphere and the host couple was just amazing, just like the hotel has an amazing location.
It was wonderful to spent a week at Hotel Europa with the sweet and helpful pair of siblings as hosts. The beds were renewed - that was lovely.
We had ordered with breakfast, but got a choice between "a la carte" or the daily special (3 options for both starter, main and dessert).
We will definitely be back.
Our week at hotel Europa was super good! The hosts at the hotel are super nice, and they always help, no matter what it is.
Too bad there was noise coming from the street all the time. Both day and night.
It was very lovely, otherwise :-)
