If you drive along Lake Como's western shore in the direction of the towns of Dongo and Gravedona, you come through the small village of Musso. This small community sits on the coastal road of the lake's shore. In town you will find a very small port, a single restaurant, pharmacy, a grocery store and a small sea-beach of gravel. From the square in front of the small church of San Biagio dating from the 1300's, there is a nice lake view.
In the slightly larger town of Dongo, about 1.5 km from Musso, you will find a larger selection of restaurants and cafes. This is where there are scheduled boat trips on the lake. The picturesque town of Gravedona with its fine lake promenade is just about 5 km away. Many people come here to enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery, to hike and bike etc.
