Here you will find 15 rooms and a beautiful swimming pool in a delightful setting around a charming country house. Families with children are welcome, but couples without children will probably get the best holiday here.

Where we are in the land?

Be surrounded by nature and vineyards just 10 km from Iseo town and the Lake Iseo itself. If you want a bit more commercialism then within 10 - 15 km you can visit the big designer outlet Franciacorta Outlet, the 27-hole golf course Franciacorta Golf Club, the small town of Brescia and Sulzano from where you can sail across to the beautiful island Montisola in just 4 minutes. On the farm there is free parking.

Dine in the genuine restaurant

The restaurant is only open to overnight guests and all dishes are based on local and fresh ingredients. Dinner is served in the same room as the where the breakfast is served. The nearest alternative is Trattoria Borgo in Franciacorta just 2½ km away or a small trattoria in the village of Ome. The restaurant is normally open only for dinner from Friday to Sunday, and only for lunch from Tuesday to Thursday. Bon appetite! NB: Please note that the restaurant is completely closed for most of August, approximately 7th - 16th August.

Shop in the farm shop

When you walk into the farm shop you will want to buy everything. It is so nice and inviting and everything is laid out beautifully. You can choose from many local specialities and homemade items including wine of course, grappa, olive oil and jam.

Take a wine tasting session ...

Agriturismo Al Rocols wine production is a bigger story. They produce mainly the sparkling Franciacorta, but also both red and white wines. It is possible to gain an insight into the production department and this is free for overnight guests. If you want the whole package, you can also order a wine tasting session in a room that precisely adapted for that same purpose. You are also welcome to stroll around in their vineyards and there is a small wine route that you can take.

Delve deeper into the raw materials

It is also possible to attend cooking classes here at the farm. They can be adapted to many different needs - as long as it all arranged in advance. The courses are typically based on the local cuisine with antipasti, fish from Lake Iseo, meat dishes, pasta dishes and cheese.

Just fantastic...

2 years ago we visited Lake Iseo where we lived in a very beautiful building, and we would not have thought it possible to find any place more beautiful than that. However, Al Rocol convinced us. Very well kept place, lovely rooms, great breakfast and wonderful pool area. We were absolutely convinced when we saw the room with the best location - with private terrace right by the pool and very quiet. This part of the building had only few guests (and only few rooms), which meant we had the pool almost all to ourselves. Amazing. The rooms were modern and tasteful, and even had a fully equipped kitchen and facilities for doing laundry.

Wi-Fi worked well. Breakfast was great, service was perfect.

We ate at Al Rocol's restaurant (only Friday through Sunday night) - it was very busy and the food is high quality, although it sometimes needs some getting used to ("cavallo" ;-)).

The region is - we think - more beautiful than the southern part of Lake Garda. Very regional, less touristic. Mostly Italians (in August), barely any Germans or other nationalities. Perfect and recommendable for a relaxing vacation ("great place to chill", as one of my sons said).

If there is one thing that could be criticized, it would be that this is an active company (vineyard), and during the day you can hear a certain amount of noise from vine production and tractors. However, this did not bother us at all.

The rooms across from the restaurant are probably sometimes affected by street noise also, when, for example, one goes for breakfast, but probably nothing too bothersome (we were only there for breakfast). Our room was very quiet.

We will go there again - the region, Al Rocol and the rooms were great.

Fantastic vineyard with friendly staff!

When we arrived at Al Rocol, we couldn't check in right away, but while we were waiting, we got to taste wine of own production, which was a kind welcome!
The rooms were big and nice, as well as a lovely pool, which we used every day. We went to wine tasting and a trip around the farm, which was absolutely fantastic. The food, that they served, was also really good! The staff was always smiling and service minded! We will definitely return to this place.

Agriturismo Al Rocol is world-class

Al Rocol lives up to the expectations you have, when you're staying at an authentic vineyard. The rooms are a bit dark, but they are decorated to fit the atmosphere. There's a perfect pool, brought children at the age of 7 ad 5 years, it's peaceful and there's enough room. There's cats, bunnies and even bambies at the place. The breakfast is in the lovely surroundings, and everything is homemade. You have to be aware of the fact, that the kitchen is closed for the evening on weekdays, and only open Friday and Saturday. Of course we came from Monday to Wednesday, it was open at lunch, and it's worth eating there, the food is phenomenal, and served with their own wines, so there's nothing to complain about. We got a private tour from the son, and everything was so fantastic, furthermore there was shopping in their shop. All in all, I can only recommend the place.
