Padenghe sul Garda is located a little inland on the lake's south-western end, just 5 km north of Lake Garda's 'capital', Desenzano del Garda.
Take a stroll though the historic centre and stop off at the church - Chiesetta di Sant'Emiliano from the 1200s and the Parrocchiale di Santa Maria from 1600. The impressive, well-preserved medieval castle 'Castello di Desenzano' sits on a hill behind the town and is well worth a visit.
