Rather you are positioned between the two great joined towns of Paratico and Sarnico. Evocative waterfronts, markets, ice cream shops and eateries are beckoning just outside the hotel doors.
Communal facilities include free cark parking and the garden with both the swimming pool and children's pool. There are plenty of sun loungers and parasols in the garden on the terrace around the pool for guests to use. There is also access to the lake, but there is no lakeside beach here. The nearest beach is approx. 2 km away and the hotel staff will be happy to provide you with directions. In addition to the children's pool, there is table tennis and a playground, although the outdoor space is limited due to the nature of the location.

The hotel's restaurant and pizzeria is a most popular and busy eatierie, but it is quite spacious with seating inside and outside. If you choose to dine outside you can sit under the huge pergola covered with wisteria overlooking Lake Iseo and River Oglio. Overnight guests may also choose the half-board option if they are staying for 3 days or more. The breakfast buffet is also served in the restaurant. Other facilities include a lift and access to wi-fi in the common areas (for a fee).
There are 14 double rooms of this type. Most face the parking lot, but some face the street. Rooms are simply furnished and equipped with air conditioning, TV (with Italian channels), a safety deposit box and a small bathroom with a toilet and a shower (some with bath). There is space to add an extra bed in some of these rooms.
There are 18 double rooms of this type. Each has a furnished balcony facing the lake and the river Oglio. They are distributed with nine rooms on the 1st floor - these have larger balconies with a little less of a view because of the pergola that rests above the terrace of the restaurant. The remaining nine rooms are located on the 2nd floor and thus have better lake views with smaller balconies in return. Rooms are simply furnished and are equipped with air conditioning, LCD TV (with Italian channels), a safety deposit box and a small bathroom with a toilet and a shower (some with bath). In these rooms there is also a small fridge. Some of these rooms have space to add an extra bed.
The location of the hotel is perfect nomatter what you wish to see in the area, and is in no way like a traditional two star hotel. The food at the restaurant of the hotel is very high standard. The internet connection is not the best because of the sorrounding mountains, but that is the only thing about our holiday that I can criticize. Right next to the town of Sarnico which is definitely worth a visit. Give yourself time to go on little walks along the promenade by both sides of the lake, and you will find lots of little gems. Et visit to Monte Isola is an absolute must.

Fantastic beautiful area. Super good service at the hotels restaurant. Lovely food and wine. Vi had several lunches and dinners at the restaurant. The most wonderful view.
The breakfast was a bit boring. We missed some fresh fruit, wholegrain bread, parma ham and cheese. We are in Italy, so why not. The hotel was clean, but needed a refresh.
Except for the fact, that the bathroom was very small, that the parking spots by the hotel were in great demand, as well as very monotonous breakfast, our stay at Hotel Stazione was very lovely. Very friendly staff, despite the fact, that they spoke almost no English, except for one of the waiters Mr. Singer, who did everything he could to make our stay very special.
It was lovely, that there weren't many tourists, the Italians are on vacation here too, so you experience authentic Italy here.
We didn't expect a whole lot of hotels. We had mostly picked it because of its location and because we wanted half-board. BUT... we were positively surprised. Really cosy and personal hotel, with excellent rooms, I would always pick those with a view over the lake, though. The half-board also surprised with both appetiser, main course and desert. Very cosy restaurant with view to the lake and wine/water was included in the price.
Our stay at Hotel Stazione was our first holiday with our small 1-year old boy, and everything was beyond all expectations. The hotel had a good grip of all the practical things; children beds, children chairs, etc. They were also always accommodating and helpful.
The staff in the restaurant are a chapter for themself. The made sure the following things, amongst other things:
- That we got a table by the river each night
- That there was prepared a meal for our son shortly.
- That we could eat our dessert on the balcony, when our son had been put to bed.
They created a really good mood - made fun and laughed with us and our son.
The food was typical Italian - very simple, but with good taste. I will put my hand on my heart and say that we have gotten better food other places in Italy, but the staff and their understanding of the fact that we had a kid with us, compensated for that.
The hotel lies well - close to shopping (fridge in the room) and town. Simply decorated, but there is everything you need.
