You will find Punta Grò at a distance of approx. 6 km from the historic centre of Sirmione - on the main road from Sirmione to Peschiera del Garda. Although the apartments are located between the road and Lake Garda, you are not bothered by traffic noise, as they are all located in a green area of approx. 140,000 m². Here there are approx. 350 apartments spread out over the spacious grounds
On site there are two swimming pools (swimming cap required) for both children and adults and in addition you can use the public beach. Other amenities include a tennis court, which can be used for a fee, a playground for the children, a bar, restaurant / pizzeria, supermarket (open from May to September), reception and parking. In addition, it is possible to hire bicycles on site. There is also a bus stop just at the supermarket.

The apartments are located in various parts of the 140,000 m² green area and distributed in small houses and larger villas all with spacious outdoor areas. All apartments are functional, but differently decorated. Since they are from the 1970's, the style can be well seem somewhat old-fashioned - especially the kitchens as they do not have an oven or a freezer. They all have either a balcony (some of the balconies are shared with the neighbouring apartment) or a terrace with garden furniture. NOTE: Check-in takes place exclusively between the hours of 16:00 - 19.00 hours. After 19.00 hours unfortunately it is not possible to check in and you would have to find alternative accommodation for the night.

Ca. 4 minutes of walking to the lake. Of all the places we have bathed at, at Lake Garda, the water was warmest here. There's very few tourists in this area, comparing to other placed we have been. A relaxing and family friendly place. The apartment had a spartan decoration, but with enough room for our needs. A bill of 80 Euro on bed linen/towels and tourist tax for 3 adults and a child for 5 days of travel. Two great restaurants right by the reception. There was a free outdoor cinema (dubbed into Italian) at the place, and free rock concert, while we were there. Whether this was a plus I'm unsure of. The pool area has been renovated and looks a lot better than the photos. We didn't have any internet in the apartment. We would like to return, but mostly because of the distance to the lake and the atmosphere.
