Outdoor and heated indoor pool

In the garden behind the hotel and apartments, there are two swimming pools, including a children's pool and a pizzeria. The hotel also has an indoor heated pool, which is open until mid-May and again from mid-September so you can enjoy swimming during the colder months. The hotel also offers a fitness room and table tennis, as well as a sauna, and 4 tennis courts that can be used for a fee.

All apartments face Lake Garda

There are a total of 66 apartments which are spread across the hillside, so the place is not recommended for the disabled as there are some steep climbs. There is parking available in several places in the area, and depending on the apartment's location, you can park either at the hotel or higher up on the mountain behind the apartments. All apartments are very simply furnished - but the lack of charm is quickly forgotten when you step out on the balcony and see the amazing views of Lake Garda.

Wonderful view and location

We had a lovely week at La Rotonda with a lovely fantastic view of lake and mountains.
In addition, we got a small brochure with some information on the area and discounts to different excursions nearby.
We were at a nice walk up to Monte Castello from the small lovely town Gardola.
We were also on a lovely walk in the evening down to a small town Oldesia, where the locals presented different products (olive oil, wine, honey, etc). In the church there were a male choir, which sang fantastically :)
A lovely experience.
At the hotel the children romped in the pool, ate ice cream and enjoyed the sun ??
Waiters and receptionists were kind and friendly - We ordered half pension and got a 3-course menu in the evening. The breakfast was a bit more sparse.. We could have used a cleaning in the room, just once in the middle of the week ??
But all in all a really nice stay.

Fantastic view.

Really good place. Fine apartments with good room for 5 people (4 adults and 1 kid aged 14) - lovely, big terrace with a fantastic view over the lake. Cosy and fine little town to shop and eat in, only 10 min walk up the mountain a bit.

Amazing view

We visited La Rotonda for the second time now. First time was 6 years ago. The view is still just as amazing. It's really why you should pick La Rotonda.

The holiday complex has become a bit worn over the years, but it isn't a big problem. The view gets 6 out of 5 starts. And the service in the reception and restaurant is very good.

We were plagued by ants in the apartment when we arrived, but some hard (legal?) chemicals dealt with them.

Review of Residence La Rotonda

For the 11th time now we have spent our vacation in Tignale. A fantastic town with a lot atmosphere and charm. 2nd time in the La Rotonda apartment. The best apartment that we have ever had!! We ordered a bed for the baby from home, we unfortunately had to ask for it the next day. The biggest minus is the parking conditions. The description claims that there is a parking spot for each apartment. We got a space in the parking garage... Fine, if just hadn't been blocked so we couldn't get in or out. There was cars parked where they weren't allowed to, so we asked the Information if they couldn't put a sign up or something, and we got told that they couldn't. For 14 days we didn't have a set parking space. We got showed to the opposite end (above a pizzeria) as long as there was space. It wasn't funny to arrive home at 9 pm after several hours of driving and not knowing where to park. It was frustrating to know that we got a space, and would be able to get out and experience things, just to come home to no parking spaces. We went to the reception about our problem, but they didn't take us seriously at all.
It would also be nice if each apartment got a kettle!
