Vesio is one of the friendliest towns in the Tremosine area perched high above Lake Garda, yet no more than a fifteen minute drive from the town of Limone. The air is always fresh, and the sounds of nature, such as the bells from sheep, goats and cows, makes one think of the old movie "Summer in Tyrol".

Delight in nature
Tremosine is a very popular place for nature lovers, especially mountain bikers, many of which come here to enjoy the wonderful routes and scenery and you will find many walking and biking trails starting nearby. If you bring your own bikes, you'll find that added advantage that the hotel offers bike storage, a bike wash and small workshop area. Guided tours can be booked at reception.
Family run hotel since 1850
Hotel Sole & La Fenice has a history dating back to the year 1850, and today the company is owned by a very nice family with Signora Anna Maria Perini at the head, and all of the staff contribute to the warm, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. It really is two hotels, and Hotel Sole was actually the town's first hotel. Hotel Sole and Hotel La Fenice are located on opposite sides of the road that runs through Vesio, but in practice it is run as a single hotel.
A great renovation and new pool
In recent years the family has invested a small fortune in a much needed renovation of the two hotels, including the installation of a lovely swimming pool with a children's section, from where there are great views of the valley. However, there are still some rooms that are yet to be modernised - and therefore the overall assessment of hotel so far is limited to 3 stars. In 2007, they completed refurnishment of four new rooms in a small adjacent building, just about 20 metres from the hotel.
Dine and relax in the spa
Hotel Sole & La Fenice has a small reception, a lift in both buildings, a bar, restaurant and pizzeria (where the good quality attracts many local guests), a small wellness centre with a spa and sauna, a swimming pool and bicycle storage. You can park in a nearby car park approx. 3 minute walk from the hotel.
Book your rooms
The hotel has around 60 rooms, which are either located to the rear of the hotel or facing the town and the valley. Most have a balcony or terrace, but this can only be guaranteed in superior rooms and suites. The standard double rooms are all nicely but simply furnished, and the standards are very different. Among other things, there are still a few rooms where the shower is shielded only by a curtain. Superior rooms were furnished in 2007, and all have parquet floors and a balcony. Junior suites are newly established (2011) and feature a wide balcony that looks towards the valley. The suites are large and were renovated in 2006 in a different style, and all have a balcony or terrace with views of Lake Garda. Each suite room can accommodate 4 people.
