Sant'Apollinare Country House is set on the wooded hillside behind the town. It is the perfect base for rambling and trekking in Bosco di Tecchi (WWF Oasis, Italy), riding up Monte Catria Massif on horseback or other excursions to some of the old remains from the Roman era. The gourmet visitor will enjoy the gastronomic route with traditional dishes of mushrooms, game and, of course, the finest truffles in the world in the local restaurants in town.
This small farm consists of three historic stone villas and a small swimming pool. A new 7 x 14 m swimming pool has been built since the summer of 2004. Guests are also free to enjoy the shared barbecue in the big garden and the large covered terrace, from where there are tremendous views over one of the valleys. The most impressive features of the site are no doubt the views, which here stretch over the two valleys and the stunning mountains on the other side of town.

The farm was restored in year 2000 and is being looked after with great care and passion by Matteo, the local dentist, and Alessandro. All the accommodation is spacious and the interior is stylish with elegant furniture without it being heavy. Children are free to run around without fear of traffic. The little unmade road running up to the farm is solely for the use of guests and one other family living a little further up the hill. For restaurants and the daily shopping you have to go to Cantiano, 5 km away, but it is possible to order bread from Alessandro, who will then bring it up in the morning.
The complex contains five totally independent and well appointed apartments, and a large house, which is suitable for smaller groups or families who want a big lounge for gatherings.
