Montecalvo in Foglia is surrounded by fields, in a gently undulating landscape about 70 km northwest of Ancona and about 25 km southwest of Pesaro. The town is quite small and still untouched by massive international tourism, so the area seems nice authentic with tractors in the fields, curious locals and very little signs in the cityscape indicating that tourism is slowly coming to the area.
In the countryside
The lonely tree in the Middle Ages - Torre Cotogna located high on a hilltop provides the ultimate motive for beautiful holiday pictures competing with the beautiful hilly surrounding countryside.
