This is a great choice for those who appreciate light and stylish decor and streamlined detail in a tranquil environment. Urbino Resort is surrounded by a 360 acre organic farm with fabulous views over the vineyards and beautiful rolling hills as far as the eye can see.
Urbino Resort was originally a collection of old tenant dwellings from the 18th century that once housed the families who worked on the farm. Today the outer walls are intact, despite the otherwise thorough but gentle restoration. It is also home to the original church SS. Giacomo e Filippo dei Forquini, which is still in use and where every Sunday a Sunday service is held as has been done for centuries.

The amenities are wonderful and include a completely newly constructed Beauty Centre where you can indulge in all sorts of treatments for an extra payment such as Turkish bath, hydromassage, relaxation area and sauna.
The main building houses the reception where there is a small bar and a breakfast room, where parts of the breakfast is organically produced from home grown produce. There is not a restaurant here but there is a pizzeria just a mile from here and in the nearby village of Rio Salso (2.5 km) and also a couple of really good restaurants.
The rooms are located both in the main building and other smaller properties that are located around the grounds. They are all different in decor and design but all feature a mini-bar, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV and air conditioning. Some rooms have a shower, but others instead have an elegant bath. It is not possible to add extra beds in the rooms.
