The place takes its name from two giant boulders that are located next to the reception and which give the place a lot of character. When you arrive at the parking lot, you pass right between them. From Pietre Gemelle Resort it is approximately 500 m to the small church square in Riva Valdobbia - here you will find a café, a butcher and a post office. Alternatively, you can head to Alagna Valsesia town (about 2 km), where you can find most necessities. Pietra Gemelle Resort has a discount agreement of 10% with two different eateries there if you wish to dine out. The site is located in close proximity to the road that leads to Alagna town - the road can be a little busy at weekends and in the absolute peak seaso.
