Villa La Meridiana offers a collection of very pleasant rooms and an inviting terrace and swimming pool in the heart of this captivating region.
There are just nine rooms at the villa and each room is full of antiques and memorabilia, each piece with a story to tell of its own. From the terraces and pool area there are magnificent views of Alba with its medieval towers, the grand Langhe Castle, rolling vineyards with the Alps in the background. Mount Monviso's most striking gothic manner sits majestically in the distance.

For countryside lovers, hikers and bikers alike, you will delight at the 10 acre site that is adorned with vines, fruit trees and forests. You can explore nature throughout the lush greenery, along 7 kilometres of pathways which lead to the enchanting wine village of Barbaresco. Bikes are available to use at Villa La Meridiana, which you can use freely to explore but the conditions vary and they are not suitable for long off road trips, but are okay for short rides nearby. The villa was built in the 18th century and is decorated in Art Nouveau style. It is situated on a hilltop named Altavilla on the outskirts of Alba and is adjacent to Nutella-founder Ferreros summer residence.
You can taste the wine produced on the estate and purchase some more to take home as a reminder of your holiday! Wines such as Barbera and Nebbiolo are made biologically from the grapes from their own vineyards. The Villa also offers laundry facilities, wi-fi internet connection in common areas, and shuttles to the city centre of Alba for a surcharge. If there are rainy days, there is a covered area with a pool table, books, foosball - table football and games.
Breakfast is served outdoors during the warmer months and fruit grown on the land is offered to guests throughout the day. Rooms 1, 3, 7 and 8 have kitchen facilities, while 2 and 2B just have a fridge. Rooms 5 and 6 share a refrigerator that stands in the hallway between the rooms.
