La Dogliola was established in 1988 by Alberto Quarello who combined his passion for wine with his desire to be self-employed. Harvest after harvest it has been possible for La Dogliola to produce different types of wine thanks to the fertile soil, the quality of the grape and the many hours spent in his wine cellar. Alberto arranges wine tasting and is happy to discuss the different aromas and tastes emanating from the glass.
Overnight accommodation is available in La Dogliola so you can experience the scenery of the Asti province and go for walks through the beautiful hills and fields. The house is a traditional Piedmont farmhouse, which has been completely restored. Alberto and his family live here, but a two-room apartment and three bedrooms are let to tourists and the wine lovers who flock to this area. Both the apartment and the bedrooms all have private bathroom. They are furnished with antiques and are very comfortable, charming and romantic.
The farm is on a hillside in an isolated and quiet location. However, it is easily accessible at all times of the year. The farm enjoys spectacular views over the surrounding countryside in Langa Astigiana with its vineyards and Saracen towers. Outside it is tempting to enjoy the sunshine on the large terrace or rest in the shade of the enormous trees.
