Stay in rolling wine countryside

The villa is peacefully located 300 metres above sea level at the end of a cul de sac. The Piedmontese Art Nouveau country house dominates hectares of vineyards and from here you can enjoy the most inspirational panoramic views. The owners were indeed inspired themselves and have thus created a trail system of over 3 km of paths that wind amongst the fragrant vines. Once you have wandered along these trails and absorbed the aroma then it's time to taste the actual wine. Wine tastings are held in the cellar at the villa for guests. Amongst other things, the family produce the wines Roero Arneis, Roero, Nebbiolo and Passito Tarasco. Breakfast includes local specialties, home produced treats and organic breakfast cereals from nearby producers.

Inviting park with a swimming pool

The villa has a pleasant green and shady garden so if you wish to escape the heat of the sun and find a shady corner, then this is possible. But the dolce vita does not stop there: Villa Cornareas pool area is a true gem with an elongated pool with a children's section, a nice little bridge, an outdoor shower and a cosy pergola. Couples are welcome here as are families with children. Special measures have been put in place for small children which include a baby changing table, high chairs, small baths and children's cutlery.

Rooms decorated in Piedmontese Art Nouveau style

Cornarea Villa offers 7 double rooms, 1 family room and 2 suites, all decorated in the Art Nouveau style of Piedmont. The rooms are spread over three floors, and are all uniquely decorated and elegantly furnished with antique furniture.

Double Regular room with veranda

These two rooms are on the ground floor and share a veranda. Both are beautiful rooms with a private bathroom, toilet and shower. In the room you will also find a mini-bar, telephone and TV. Regular Double with terrace: These large rooms are on the first or second floor and have a private bathroom with a shower and toilet, mini-bar, phone and TV. There is a fabulous terrace with dreamy views of the rolling hills of Piedmont. Each room is also furnished with a table and chairs. Family Room for 2 - 4 people without terrace: There is only one room of this type. It is a small apartment on the ground floor which doesn't have a kitchen. The room has its own bathroom with a shower and toilet, mini-bar, phone and TV. It can accommodate up to 4 people.

Suite Azzurra

The suite has a historical feel due to its original furnishings and beautiful stucco ceilings. You will find a mini-bar, telephone, television, and most importantly there is a beautiful view of the vineyards. The bathroom has a small jacuzzi. The two suites on the first floor each have their own terrace from where to enjoy a nice glass of wine. It is possible to add 2 extra beds in this room.

Suite Veneziana

Veneziana is just as elegantly decorated and furnised as Azzurra, and also offers a beautiful view of the vineyards from the windows and the balcony. It has a magnificent glazed ceramic chandelier and an original parquet floor in Canadian maple. There is also of course a mini-bar, telephone and TV. The bathroom contains a bath. It is possible to add 2 extra beds in this room.

Everything was perfect

We stayed for the first time in an agriturismo and were very satisfied. When we arrived, the manager personally came to welcome us and explained and showed everything. The location of the agritursimo was very quiet, what made us sleep wonderfully without being disturbed by anything. The breakfast was really great and if you wanted to take a wine in the evening, they just counted your glasses.

Great villa

Lived here 4 nights on room nr. 3. It had a nice terrace with view over the vineyards.
Welcome drink/cheese/ham when we arrived..
Very kind staff, who were pleasant with the ordering of nearby restaurants. A little far to walk down to Canale, but we were recommended to take the car down to the end of the hill and park - then walk the last bit to Canale - and it worked well.
A lot of things were closed in Canale - so we had some trouble with finding good restaurants there.
All'Enoteca was closed, but their Osteria was open. We were also recommended Agriturismo Le Querce del Vareglio by the staff at Villa Cornarea - lied a bit far away, but really good food.

Fam. Anderson - 2 adults and 2 kids

We had 4 nights at Villa Cornarea and can definitely recommend the place. The only bad thing about it, is that there is no A/C in the room and during the summer it gets very hot, so it affected our night's sleep since we couldn't cool the room. There, however, was a lot of other things that made up for it.
They are very accommodating and hospitable at the place.
A fine breakfast which was ready from 8.30, we chose to leave very early on the day of our departure - they had put breakfast out for us even though we left early - very good service.
They also had a fantastic white wine.

We were told that if we wanted lunch or dinner at the place one of the days, that we could just tell them in the morning. One of the days we chose to order lunch, there was no menu card - we just told what we would like - and then the kids got a pasta dish and we got a cold meal with cheese, tomatoes and bread. They had laid the table under a big tree with a white tablecloth, we got served the most fantastic lunch in such lovely surroundings - it was a pleasure.
