The small sunlit Hotel Sole is located midway between Cannobio (about 1 ½ miles) and Oggebbio (approximately 2 km) on Lake Maggiore's western shore. The exotic palm trees and the panoramic lake view add much character to the place. It's hard to believe that you can have lake views, a sun terrace and free parking for such a great price!
Hotel Sole is slightly elevated from the coastal road that connects Cannobio to Verbania. The road to the hotel runs up the hill away from the coastal road, and although the road is not visible, you can still hear a little traffic noise from the hotel. Cannobio centre can be reached on foot along a path - alternatively, in 5 minutes by car. There is a small public sea-beach down by the lake in front of the hotel located approx. 100 metres away. There is free parking also in front of the hotel - and in addition there is also a garage.

The hotel does not have large outdoor areas as it is on a slope, but the common terrace with furniture and a hanging bed is in turn a draw. From here there is a fine view of the lake and palm trees. Although there is no restaurant on site, it is possible to get free home delivery of food from the local Trattoria / Pizzeria Il Giardino, which is located in Cannobio. This avoids having to move the car or indeed yourselves and you can dine on the common terrace and enjoy the views. Also, breakfast can be enjoyed here or indoors in the breakfast room, which also has a bar. There is also wi-fi in both the public areas and the rooms.
