The town also gives its name to the municipality, although there are only 800 inhabitants. The local mayor can be seen driving around in his tractor when he is not dealing with his mayor's duties. The resort also has a church that today is a bit out of proportion, but which gives a sense of local history.
You can find a restaurant at the entrance of the old town serving traditional cuisine in a simple and honest way. Here we cannot boast about the service, but they have the old attitude that the portions should be large and the bill reasonable. We are told that some Germans and Swiss like to visit the village.
The scenery around the town is very beautiful and peaceful, and there is a lookout in the town that has views over Dalarna. There is plenty of parking in town.
