Corneliano d'Alba is a nice little town located approx. 6 km from Alba. The town is centred around a typical piazza/square with the main street running through. Here are several good restaurants and bars, as well as some basic stores, a post office, a bank etc. When you arrive in the town, what is most striking are the many towers and beautiful churches that are in the centre. The area around the town is characterised by rolling vineyards like many of the other towns in the Piedmont region, but here there are also many peach orchards. The area is ideal to visit in the spring when the fresh flowers are in bloom. Corneliano d'Alba is a good starting point for those wishing to stay in a rural setting, but who still want to be within striking distance of the many small towns that Piedmont has to offer.
