Diano d'Alba is a nice little town situated in the middle of the Langhe area in the Cuneo province approx. 60 kilometres from Turin. The landscape is characterized by soft green hills and vineyards, where the beautiful Dolcetto grape grows in abundance. The place is well known for its lovely wine Dolcetto di Diano d'Alba, which is produced in vineyards in the area.
The place is a perfect starting point for visits to wineries such as Barolo, visiting the many castles that are scattered around the area as well as excursions on foot or by bike in the hilly and beautiful landscape. Worth visiting is the church of Saint Giovanni Battista, which was built between the years 1763 and 1770 as well as the town hall from the 18th century. Diano d'Alba has several restaurants and little shops.
