Farigliano belongs to Cuneo province and is located approx. 41 km away from Cuneo city. Remains from the Middle Ages are scattered about the city; in the form of ruins including some private houses and a medieval castle. There is a restaurant and pizzeria in this small town.
Farigliano is near to the towns Dogliani and Mondovì, where there are more exciting things to experience. Dogliani offers, among other things, several interesting churches and wonderful viewpoints where you can enjoy the beautiful views over the Langhe area. The town is also home to the famous wine cellar 'La Bottega del Vino'. This wine cellar began in 1984 and is an association of winegrowers who have come together to raise awareness of the local wine Dolcetto di Dogliani. Wine tastings are available here. A few miles from Mondovi, on the road from Savona, do not miss visiting the Santuario di Vicoforte. With its elliptical dome - the largest in the world, it is one of the main attractions of the Piedmont region.
