Among other things here, there is a medieval castle where art exhibitions are sometimes held. There is ample opportunity for excursions in the scenic surroundings around the Po River on foot or by bike. In the field in the surrounding villages you will find some baroque buildings, a Roman cathedral and some large Medieval castles. There are many typical restaurants with fantastic wines to sample also. In addition, asparagus, strawberries and other vegetables are grown in these fields and sold at local markets.
The hilly landscape with vineyards and fruit trees merge together with medieval castles and especially the Po River creating a unique landscape. The village is well known for its wines, including the famous Alessandria DOC, as the area plays an important role in wine production.
