A stay at Risveglio in Langa feels like home from home because of the family that runs it and they way in which they have developed their house, the land and the hospitality. They have refurbished this fine period house making 5 wonderful self-contained apartments so you can appreciate a bit of their paradise yourself.
This small charming farm is located in the middle of vineyards below the village of La Morra, in the region of Annunziata. The surroundings are dominated by vineyards as far as the eye can see, and for those who want peace and quiet, this is an excellent choice. A wonderful historic adventure awaits you in the Langhe region as it is full of distinctive medieval towns and well-preserved fortresses on hilltops waiting to be discovered.

Despite its location in the countryside, you will find a restaurant - Osteria Veglio - only approx. 200 metres away where you can sample delicious traditional local dishes and of course local wine. A short car ride will take you to the famous wine villages such as La Morra (3.5 km) and Barolo (4.5 km). In other words, you are in Langhe and surrounded by vineyards and wineries with lots of opportunity to take wine tours and visit authentic cellars. Alessandro, the young and ambitious son of the family that owns Risveglio began in 2005 to experiment with wine production in the local vineyards. The result is promising and today he is proud to introduce his wines to guests.
La Morra is a name well-known to wine connoisseurs worldwide and you can be sure to eat and drink well as the town is full of gourmet restaurants which attract quite a crowd during the summer months. The town is in an elevated position so you can enjoy some wonderful views of the Langhe district and the Alps from here. If you are feeling like stretching your legs, there are the famous seven paths of La Morra which take you in and around the woods and great vineyards between La Morra and Barolo with exceptional views along the way. The 5 apartments are all furnished in a rustic country style with modern amenities like air conditioning and satellite TV. For common use, there is also a covered terrace with tables and chairs and a garden that is located right next to the vineyards with a beautiful view of the countryside and La Morra. The car can be parked in the yard.

- The studio apartments consist of a living room with a kitchenette (with two hotplates and a microwave), satellite TV, a double bed, a bathroom with a toilet and shower. The apartments are located on the 1st or 2nd floor and all have a small balcony (gallery) with space for a few chairs.
1 bedroom apartment - sleeps 2/3
- The 1 bedroom apartments consist of a kitchen (with two hobs, microwave and dishwasher), satellite TV, a bedroom with a double bed and sofa bed for one person, bathroom with a toilet and shower. The apartments are located on the 1st or 2nd floor and all have a small balcony (gallery) with room for a few chairs. It is possible to add an extra bed to sleep a total of 4 people.
It has been a really great vacation in a lovely, functional and rustically decorated apartment. Can be highly recommended, if you wish to stay in "wine - rural surroundings", where you each day wakes up to the view and smell of the vineyards - The host couple are incredibly kind and accommodating. They only speak Italian, but that doesn't matter, we easily figured out how to understand each other. The daughter (we think it is) speaks moderate English.
All in all a super lovely vacation :-)
