The location is in fact well sought after in the middle of Monteforte d'Alba's historic centre with a charming atmosphere and many good restaurants where you can dine well.
This historic villa dates from the 1700's and is full of good taste. Here you will find genuine hospitality and a high quality product out of the ordinary: once you have been for a walk in their fairytale garden, enjoyed the view from the panoramic terraces and found inner peace by the well-placed pool area, you are likely to want to book a few extra nights! In the town there are several wine bars, restaurants and trattorias with local specialties.

The villa was lovingly restored in 1997 and opened as a hotel after standing empty for some years. Villa Beccaris opened with the aim that guests should feel welcome and above all comfortable. Most of their guests have therefore become regulars - after a stay here you will understand why.
There include a 25,000 m² park to the hotel where poetic forest paths wind among the green elements. The park connects the city and the countryside along - a landscape that is primarily characterized by vines, rolling hills, fields, castles and mountains on the horizon. Finally, there are several 18-hole golf courses in the area within reasonable driving distance.
The breakfast buffet is plentiful and includes among other things cheeses, salami, homemade cakes and croissants and is available in the Caffè dell'Auditorium. The hotel also has a enclosed garage, a meeting room with vaulted ceilings, a beautiful taverna in glass (former orangery) and a tasteful wine bar.
The hotel has 11 classic rooms, 11 deluxe rooms and one suite. Since it is an old villa, all rooms also vary in shape, size and colour.
Classic rooms are nice and cosy and they have a bathroom with a shower, a hairdryer, a mini-bar, satellite TV, air conditioning, a telephone and a safety deposit box.
Deluxe rooms are tastefully decorated with antique furniture, terracotta or parquet floors and ceiling frescoes. Some of the deluxe rooms have a balcony. They have a bathroom with a shower, a hairdryer, a mini-bar, satellite TV, air conditioning, a telephone and a safety deposit box. In addition to these facilities, they also offer room service and other small details.
The suite has two entrances: one from the patio and from the park. It is divided into sleeping and living areas: the bedroom has views of the picturesque landscape, while the living room faces the garden and pool. The living room is spacious and has antique furniture, frescoed ceilings and parquet flooring. It has a bath room with a shower, a hairdryer, a mini-bar, satellite TV, air conditioning, a telephone and safety deposit box. In addition to these facilities, they also offer room service and other small details.
I'm just glad that I have picked up this destination. In all ways just perfect!
The staff is very friendly and service at a high level. Wonderful pool-area and easily access to nearby sight seeings. Fx. Torino!
Try the lovely wines and truffles. And not to mention the wonderful Nocciola nuts.
If you earlier have driven around in Italy and set the GPS to a destination, you will often end up on smaller gravel roads, paths, one-way streets (opposite the driving direction), and we have to admit, that that also happened to us. When that has been said, you arrive to a small hotel, where all the employees try to give the visitors a good experience. No matter if it is the small goodie bag with slippers, shampoo, lotions, etc. in the room, the welcome drink of your choice (cool white wine is suitable in 25 degrees) on the roofed terrace, the attempt to find a suitable place to eat in the evening or the preparation of the room (lit room, tomorrow's weather on a map and Italian wine gums) when you're returning tired from the dinner in the town; everybody tries to make your stay as comfortable as possible. In the breakfast buffet nothing can be criticised, the only thing missing was bacon, and that was lucky, because the Parma ham is just so much better!
All in all a good experience in fantastic surroundings, which is worth betting on, if you want a romantic adult vacation. Does it sound typical Italian, hardly. Villa Beccaris is a typical Italian hotel, it is in many ways far ahead of the normal hotel experience, you would expect, no matter where you are.
High standard at the rooms (though a bit small), great service and breakfast. The view was breathtaking. Unfortunately we didn't manage to see the park at the hotel, as we've been told was very beautiful.
