Lovely apartment in a beautiful building. Amazing view overlooking the vineyards and hilly landscape. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The only downside is that the apartments were very spartan equipped with basic kitchen facilities.

The pool area is small, but nice. If this is not enough, then you can find a public pool within walking distance from the apartments.

Monforte is a lovely and cosy city. Here you can also visit Alba.

There is a lot of wineries in the area and we visited a few of them, which was a great and positive experience. Ask the staff about the contact to the wineries.

I travelled with my boyfriend and our 12 year-old daughter. We lived in the apartment 201B with 2 rooms and balcony with a view over the vineyards. It was an amazing experience. The apartment was perfect, with everything we needed, good room and a wonderful balcony, where we could sit and watch the sun go down in the evening. The pool was a lovely oasis, where we spent a lot of hours. It is good for smaller kids, seen at is isn't as deep.

There was a larger company of people eating at the place Saturday, but it was enjoyable with live music and it was annoying or disturbing us.

The town is cosy, authentic, with small places to eat that serve wonderful food and wine. A fine little supermarket, where you can buy wonderful groceries.

Remember to ask for the Wi-Fi password. We didn't get it automatically.

We would like to come again and we can warmly recommend this place.

Recommendations for future guests

The owner, Niro, also owns the restaurant Albergo Ristorante Giardino “da Felicin”, which got a Michelin star in 2015. We ate there one night and it was a grand experience. Price-wise it is possible to keep up.
The restaurants in the square has some lovely Italian courses. One of them is only open during weekends, however.
It is a good idea to order a tour for one of the many châteaus in the area. You can get access to them and look around yourself and taste wine. But a guided tour would've given us a better experience.
