Ca'del Lupo is nestled on a hill in the heart of the picturesque wine region of Piedmont and offers a breathtaking view of the region and its vineyards. The hotel is very modern in its design and offers a different visual than many of the others in the area.
This revitalizing place was opened in 2005 and is on the outskirts of the cosy village of Montelupo Albese. There is ample opportunity to spend time outdoors in the wonderful garden, by the pool or on the terrace with panoramic views when the weather is good.

At the restaurant you can enjoy regional cuisine and choose from more than 150 different wines while you are impressed by the view. On clear days you can see the Alps in the distance. The restaurant is closed on Wednesdays, so you will eat at the nearby restaurant in Montelupo Albese Trattoria in Piazza if you have booked half-board.
The breakfast buffet is exciting and offers among other things homemade bread, cheese and salami. You can enjoy this whilst looking over the rolling landscape through the large glass windows - in summer it can be enjoyed on the large terrace. The hotel also has covered parking in a locked garage and two elevators, so access is optimal.
The hotel staff are happy to give advice on a variety of interesting excursions in the area, including visits to wine cellars and castles. The area's main city is Alba, which is certainly worth a visit, and is just about 13km away.

The three family rooms with private terraces are located at the lowest level by the swimming pools. There is one large room with a double bed and a bunk bed (190 cm). The rooms are suitable only for families, not for couples or friends travelling together. There is a flat screen satellite TV, a mini-bar, a safety deposit box, a desk and very spacious wardrobe. Air conditioning is not needed due to the altitude of the hotel at 600 metres above sea level.

Really sweet and helpful staff, the kids got free ice cream and water. Good service.
The family room, which we had, had a terrace facing the pool and it was very pretty and lovely with good room. There was cleaned every day.
The breakfast was SO delicious and it was unique that, you could sit and enjoy it with a view over the vineyards and small towns from the top of the hotel... Wow!
I have mixed feelings about this hotel. Location is magic, though i would want to have a walking distance to some town with a choise of restaurents. The stuff is great! At the same time i left with a sure knowledge that i would probably not stay there again.
