Really sweet and helpful staff, the kids got free ice cream and water. Good service.
The family room, which we had, had a terrace facing the pool and it was very pretty and lovely with good room. There was cleaned every day.

The breakfast was SO delicious and it was unique that, you could sit and enjoy it with a view over the vineyards and small towns from the top of the hotel... Wow!

Recommendations for future guests

The restaurant at this place has a wonderful view. The food is OK and they have a fine wine card :) Alba is a really lovely, cosy town, with a little pedestrianized shopping street and beautiful old buildings. Do yourself a favour, and take a trip by the local wine farmer for a wine tasting and maybe buy some of their really good wines, most places also welcome children. Ask if the reception if you need to, they were very helpful with finding a wine farmer with the specific sorts of wines we wanted. They called around and asked what was open, so we wouldn't gave to drive around in vain. So fine service :)

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. Location is magic, though i would want to have a walking distance to some town with a choise of restaurents. The stuff is great! At the same time i left with a sure knowledge that i would probably not stay there again.
