Due to this reason, the town recently entered the list of the most beautiful medieval towns in Italy: In borghi più belli d'Italia. Around town there are vineyards as far as the eye can see, and the area is full of wineries, many of which are open for visits. One can even see the obvious and well-known wine town Barbaresco from towns vantage points.
To stroll around Neive is like walking into a historical time warp, and the city has largely retained its charm and authenticity. Here are a few restaurants and wine bars, but otherwise the town includes largely residential buildings.
