Breakfast is served in the beautiful courtyard, weather permitting, and otherwise in the cosy breakfast room. The garden is well kept and is perfect for meditative relaxation. L'Aromatario has a common sun terrace from where guests can enjoy the stunning landscape views.
The four rooms are tastefully decorated with a definitive romantic touch. They have a bathroom with a toilet and shower / bath. The rooms are located on the first floor of a historic building where modern entertainment items such as flat-screen TV would detract from the authenticity of the period feel, hence technology has been sacrificed for character. The yellow and the blue room overlook the market square, whilst the red room faces the courtyard.
The apartment is at the back of the building and is tastefully decorated and furnished equally as stylish as the rooms, but it is on two levels. On the ground floor there is a living room with a kitchenette. Via a spiral staircase, you reach a bedroom and a bathroom with a toilet and shower. Above the bedroom is a loft with a futon for 1 person. It has a small balcony with views of Neive's medieval alleys. There is a beautiful apricot wood table and chairs that belong to the apartment on a terrace in front of the entrance. The apartment is best suited for two adults and one child (but not very young children because of the spiral staircase).
A fantastic hostess Rita, who took very good care of us. The price included breakfast... It was the best breakfast my husband and I have eaten in a long time. Nice Italian specialities, fresh fruit and green from Rita's garden. The apartment had all the facilities you needed to cook for yourself, and a wonderful little balcony, while we also had a little private terrace.
Nieve is a fantastic little village with small charming streets, enotecas (little wine-shops/bars), nice food and cozy atmosphere.
From here we took day-trips to La Morra, Barolo and Asti. Our accommodation was just fine. Our room Camera Rosa was located right in front of a lovely and beautiful garden. The breakfast was just amazing with local foods. The atmosphere was even bigger when we got the invitation from the owner to see the beautiful sunset from the owners private rooftop. The view was amazing overlooking vineyards and the Alpes.
It was just amazing and words can't describe the feeling that we've got! Mona and I have promised each other, and Nieve that we will return.
It was time to leave this beautiful place the next day. We drove through Schweiz to Colmar, Alsace, Rudesheim, Rhinen and Oldensburg, Hostein and arrived to Sweden.
This was our most fantastic vacation. A lot of the places that we visited was because of you Marcus. Thank you alot!! Every accommodation with In-Italia that we have tried was just great.
