Oggebbio consists of all 15 small communities located at the beautiful Lake Maggiore with the green hills in the background with mansions and manicured gardens. It is a small market town with many houses scattered among chestnut trees at different terrace levels overlooking the lake.
If you visit here we recommend a trip to the Gothic church in Novaglio and Cadessino where you can see frescoes from the 15th Century in the town's chapel Sant'Agata. Here you can combine a beach holiday by the lake with excursions into the mountains. You will find all the necessities in the town including a small supermarket, a pharmacy and a restaurant, which also has pizza on the menu.
