The apartment is in a private residential complex and when you stay here you have use of a park down by the lake with a swimming pool and many other facilities.
The apartment is in a complex in a private area. You can drive almost right up to the apartment where there is free parking - and then you have to walk up a few steps before arriving at the elevator which takes you up to the apartment on the 4th floor. If you want to visit either Cannobio or Verbania and leave the car, then you can take local buses. From here you can also walk to the centre of Oggebbio where you will find both find eateries, a grocery, a pharmacy and a post office.

Down by the lake is a residential neighbourhood private park (approximately 600 metres with steps down from the apartment). Once you have crossed the road (there is a pedestrian crossing), there is access to both the swimming pool (with changing rooms, sun beds and toilets), a children's pool, tennis courts, bocce courts and a playground (all-inclusive). The park is large and has many botanical plants. It is possible to walk down here along the lake and there is even a bridge, but there is no lake beach as such.
This one-bedroom apartment of about 45 m² consists of one large living room with a kitchenette (4 gas rings, fridge, microwave and dishwasher), a double sofa bed and one extra bed is available as a single sofa bed for a child up to 15 years. There is also satellite TV (LCD). There is no air conditioning or W-Fi (but they have made ??a computer available on request and there is a possibility of internet access via USB stick). There is a private bathroom with a toilet, a shower and a French balcony. From the apartment it opens onto a furnished terrace with panoramic lake views. There is also a washing machine in the apartment.
Both location and apartment with interior was first class. We got a nice reception of the owner with keys and information. When something unexpected happened for example, the dishwasher wouldn't work, it was very easy to get in touch with the Signora on the cellphone . I'm speaking Italian, so that makes communication easier.
There were a but however - there was a garage renovation going on with a pneumatic drill from Monday to Friday. I think that kind of thing should be announced just like noise from the road, etc. gets.
You could announce that in the weeks from xx to xx you should expect noise from the buildings during the day. We had perhaps chosen a different apartment if we had known that.
Now, we go on a lot of trips and could go down in the garden, so we got through the noise. But a lot of people might spend more time at the balcony.
The park and the garden with access to the lake was wonderful. There were even signs with names by all the plants.
