Pettenasco is a small town on the eastern shore of Lake Orta. You will find also all daily necessities, as well as a restaurant, pizzeria Vecchio Forno , a gas station, a pharmacy, a newsstand and a cheese shop. The lake view is breathtaking, and you can see the house of Pella all the way on the west bank. Lake Orta is actually quite small, so it is possible to see almost all from the town of Pettenasco.
Pettenasco has a small downtown with an antique shop, and an interesting old church, San Audenzio with an interesting bell tower. it's a 3 km walk from Pettenasco to the famous medieval town of San Giulio. For shopping, go to the outlet Omegna "Alessi" north of the town.
