Treiso is a small village with just 800 inhabitants in close proximity to the more famous city of Alba.
The town does not have much to offer in terms of architectural landmarks and historic trails, despite the fact that the Roman emperor Publio Elvio Pertinace lived near here. However, when it comes gastonomy, one can find two of Langhe's most acclaimed restaurants right here in the town of Treiso. And then there is the landscape. The town is quite small and most of it's roads overlook the surrounding vineyards which present themselves like an oil painting in the distance.
