Vicoforte is located in the southern part of Piedmont just 7 km from the more well-known city Mondovì. The town is home to approximately 3,200 residents.
In addition to Santuario di Vicoforte, which is worth a visit, Vicoforte is a good starting point for excursions to the neighbouring town of Mondovì, Mondovì Outlet Village, Castle Reale di Casotto and stalactite cave "Grotta di Bossea". Liguria with its lovely beaches is just about 60 km from here (about 1 hour).
