You can wander to the beach in just a few minutes, and you will find the gently sloping shore perfect for your children. Alghero can be reached in 10 minutes by car. A bus also runs to Alghero every hour if you don't wish to drive, and the tickets only costs €1,00 each!
Fertilia is a great destination for the whole family, with many advantages: it is only 7 km from Alghero, with its picturesque city centre, and has a beautifully conserved natural area. Do not miss the opportunity to observe the many species of birds, especially flamingos with your family. You can reach the beach in Fertilia in around two minutes on foot, and the sand is fine and the water is clear. You will have a good choice of restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream shops and other services in the town.
Alghero perhaps may not be the most typical Sardinian town, but it has a definite Spanish-Aragonese character that blends harmoniously with the Sardinian atmosphere and sends its visitors into a spell. You can wander the charming streets and find many a cosy eatery for dinner and some good Sardinian wine.
Fertilia is perfect for exploring Alghero with a relaxing base by the beach. The spacious and cosy apartment is air conditioned and is located just 50 metres from the sea. If you do not feel like cooking, you will find a restaurant just 80 metres away from the apartment, and the supermarket is just 100 metres away. You can enjoy a sea view from the balcony but it is a bit limited by the vegetation and the neighbouring houses. Please note that the balcony is furnished with a small table and two chairs and is not large enough for a dining table, but for a coffee or a glass of wine.
The apartment is on the 4th floor. It has two double bedrooms (one with a double bed, the second with a bunk bed), a large living room with a terrace, kitchenette, bathroom. It has a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, freezer, oven, washing machine, 4-burner gas. Living room with LCD TV. There is a bathroom with shower, WC and a hairdryer. The apartments windows have mosquito nets and there is air conditioning.
