Stay in nature's embrace

You can enjoy a tranquil setting here as it is discreetly shielded by nature's embrace in lovely rural surroundings. You would not think that you are so close to Alghero, where there are a wealth of beaches and Alghero airport. The villa has more than four acres of land, rich in vines and olives among other things.

Close to beaches, park and Alghero city

The nearest beaches are about. 7 km from here. You can either head south to Fertilia and Lido San Giovanni or west to Porto Ferro. There are many other beaches in the area, such as popular Maria Pia immediately north of Alghero and the beautiful Delle Bombarde and Lazzaretto at Porto Conte. You can visit the nature park Parco di Porto Conte with its 5,350 acres of natural land. Mount Monte Porto Contes is a characteristic hill that can be seen from afar - also from Villa Barbarina. Alghero's charming and lively historic centre is only about 13 km away, while the airport is approx. 6 km away, making Villa Barbarina an obvious choice for those who arrive or depart from Alghero. Villa Barbarina is also highly suitable for up to one full week of vacation.

Captivating facilities

Upon arrival, large expanses of land and a sea of olive trees and vines meet the eye. The swimming pool is beautifully located in front of the main building with sun loungers and table and chairs and is lit during the evening to create a charming atmosphere. There is a children's playground, free parking facilities and pets are welcome on the site. There is even a kennel available if you bring your dog.

Dine in the elegant and romantic setting

Inside you will find a reception on the top level with info-points and a lounge. The restaurant is located under the reception and serves both indoors and outdoors, weather permitting. The surroundings are tasteful and well thought out. The food is prepared in accordance with the principle of using largely local ingredients. Frequently during the summer, barbeque evenings are organised - and although there will always be meat on the menu, their trump card is primarily fish. You can book half-board, which is a fixed menu or dine 'a la carte'. The breakfast buffet is also in the same location.

Sardinia 2015

We arrived late in the evening after landing at about 20.30 pm, took an hour before leaving the airport by car. Driove a little wrong with Maps - not your description.
But despite our late arrival at 22.30, we were well received, could have dinner in their restaurant - 1 meter tall pizza for 4 hungry adults was just what we needed.
The place itself is very elegant and nice as a hotel with large lawn lovely swimming pool which we used to the next morning before we drove on. Have some information at the reception at the reception.
4 stars not the 5 since we were only there quite a short time to rate the place.
