Grand Hotel Smeraldo Beach offers more amenities like bars, private beach, outdoor pool, walking distance to a small centre and a short drive to one of Sardinia's most famous beaches, Costa Smeralda. Phi beach, a late afternoon and evening outdoor lounge bar, is around the corner and very famous over whole of Italy.
Beautifully located
The hotel is built on different levels and melts beautifully into the surrounding landscape, where the sea and the lovely coast spreads a picturesque front. In the sea there is even a nice outdoor pool with a large sun terrace. You have access to three pools and a small, private sandy condition, Emerald, where there are sun loungers and umbrellas (ev. fee). A very nice location, especially when the evening begins and atmospheric light starts to come on here and there.
Choose from three bars and two restaurants
Sardinia is renowned for its fantastic cuisine and Grand Hotel Smeraldo Beach is no exception. Here you can choose from two restaurants, both serving excellent specialties. Barbeque restaurant Pagoda, which serves both lunch and dinner, overlooks the coast and restaurant Smeraldo at the pool.
The good aperitif prior to your dinner or good "aver" you can enjoy at the piano bar or out on the terrace. At the hotel you will find also a patio-bar, which is decorated like a winter garden and a beach so you do not have to walk so far to get your refreshments. The lobby is divided into different rooms and you have besides the bar a common TV room and a reading room.
Take a walk to the center
Should you prefer to dineout, you can quickly and easily go to Baja Sardinia's center, which is only about 300 m. away. Here you have restaurants, shops, food shops and boat hire, tour organisers, the opportunity to sign up for water sports, etc. When you are on the island's beautiful northern part, you have many wonderful excursions in your vicinity. World-renowned Porto Cervo and the Costa Smeralda, just to name a few, is about 5 km. away, and offers so many wonderful beaches that you simply must visit.
Rooms in traditional Sardinian style
Grand Hotel Smeraldo Beach has 160 rooms in total and you can choose between views on the garden, sea view from the side and direct sea views. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, wi-fi, minibar, storage box, hairdryer, moste of them with balcony or terrace / private outdoor area. If you choose half or full board, which we recommend, remember that beverages are not included.
