You will find Cabras approx. 1 km away where there are restaurants, shops and cafés. The charming Cecilia has renovated the family home and converted some rooms for tourists who want to discover this unknown corner of Sardinia.
The bedrooms are elegantly furnished, delightfully arranged and spacious. They all have air conditioning and TV as well as en suite bathroom. Most of them have access to a narrow terrace although it is not possible to sit here. However, there is a common covered terrace on the 1st floor of the property, and a cosy patio with outside furniture that you can use.

Cecilia has arranged a restaurant in the small barn in the garden where you can dine with other guests and locals alike. If you do not want to eat here there are several restaurants in Cabras and a really good pizzeria in Solana, but we would recommend you try the house wine. It is a true Vernaccia grown by Cecilia's husband nearby. A heavy white wine like that is not easily found anywhere else but in Sardinia.
Breakfast is served in the restaurant, and this includes coffee and sweet cakes according to the Italian tradition, but Cecilia is happy to serve bread, cornflakes, fruit, milk and cheese also.
The place is recommended to those who want a homely atmosphere and are not afraid of contact with the owners. Please note that there is some traffic noise from the road during the day but it is very quiet at night.
A fun week with good times and hospitality in Mammas garden at night after dinner. We ate there four times. A overwhelming dinner, maybe a bit too much, but it was great. B&B was properly not the best choice for us when we had to be away a whole week. The rooms was missing something, like the possibility to cook at the morning or evening when you wanted. We had earlier stayed in apartments where we where able to do that, but of cause this is a B&B, so that might be something we should have thought about. But great service and nice times with Mamma, the family and their sweet dog.
Cecilia's bed&breakfast was a fantastic place, great homemade food, the host couple was absolutely incredible.
Cecilia's is a very lovely and well run B&B with peace and idyll. Cecilia only speak Italian, but you can get by with gesticulations:0)
The breakfast is lovely - always with homemade cake to finish with. If you ask/ gets asked there's a possibility for dinner. The dinner is from a really great Italian country kitchen. You are going through all the courses both antipasti, pasta and main course as well as fruit from the garden and homemade cake. It gets finished with a limoncello or mirto to digest the food.
Good starting point for seeing the western Sardinia - but rent a car.
Cecilia personifies the place and creates comfort, while showing she's a very good cook. Warmly recommended.
We have just returned from Sardinia, which we visited for the first time - but definitely not the last time!
We stayed for 2 weeks at Cecilia's Bed and Breakfast near the small town of Cabras. Initially it was a little hard to find, a bit hidden from the road behind a wall and a fence!
However, when we got in touch, there was a lot of warmth and love flowing from us, partly from the place and especially from the hostess of Cecilia, who during the 14 days we were there, incorporated us into the family and who, in the literal sense, opened her arms and showed us so much hospitality as we have never felt anywhere in the ever-endless agriturismos we have lived in all over Italy.
Everything was very authentic and worked perfectly and offered us just the "luxury" we feel necessary!
Room, bathroom, closet, cleaning was perfect according to our standard - and not least there was a really good and comfortable bed!
The breakfast lived up to what we expected and gave us a good "bottom" to meet the day.
Every day we could sign up for dinner as it now fit into our plans.
Here we experienced food prepared in the kitchen, of the house's own raw materials from the field, and very often fresh fish collected on the day - and we were often allowed to see and touch!
Cecilia and her amazing sweet and moody husband Angelino unfortunately do not speak a word English which we initially experienced as a bit of a barrier, but as the days went by, we did not even bother to get close and warm contact with both the host couple and the other " Native "who stayed and worked on site.
Of course, it always means that you yourself are outgoing and want to contact. The amount of this, you decide yourself !!
When on the last day we took away the tearing-line with the place and the hostess - and not to forget about everybody's pet dog Lilo - we got a bottle of Cecilia's homemade myrtle liqueur and a glass of orange juice in your mouth!
With kiss and blow we went and thought if what we had experienced was common in Sardinia, which we had obviously experienced as extremely hospitable, in a pleasant laid-back fashion, or if it was special for Cecilia's B & B!
Whatever a remarkable place to stay on a vacation in Sardinia!
From us ****** 6 stars !!
We had a really nice stay at Cecilia and Cecilia herself is a loving and kind person. My sister-in-law got fibrillation and Cecilia had to order an ambulance that came very quick and after 4 hours we were back. Cecilia helped us with some translation at the hospital, because only few of the staff at the hospital spoke English. W would like to send her lovely thoughs!
