Girasole is a small village just 2 ½ km north of the town of Tortoli. Beside Girasole you will find a beautiful natural area with lake Stagno di Tortoli and 2 ½ km to the east lies the finest sandy beaches in a beautiful natural setting. The town has slowly sprung up around the road and you will find a supermarket, a newsstand, a bar and a post office.
