Golfo Aranci is located approximately 20 km north of Olbia and you arrive here by following the beautiful panoramic coastal road. The town is an old fishing village, located here for strategic reasons: Gulf of Golfo Aranci is very rich in fish.
The town has a nice little fishing harbour and a port where many ferries depart to the Italian mainland. If you want to experience what it means to live in a real fishing village while being in close proximity to cities like Olbia, the famous city of Porto Rotondo and affordable distance to the Costa Smeralda, then Golfo Aranci is an obvious choice and a great alternative for a calm beach holiday. The area is known for its beautiful white sandy beaches and emerald green sea.

The town also has a fine selection of restaurants with both traditional Sardinian dishes and international cuisine. There is not much in the way of bars and shops here but you can visit the nearby Olbia to find a Greater choice of these.
