Stay in the north of Sardinia right in between the exclusive Costa Smeralda and the northern tip ending at Santa Teresa di Gallura. The hotel is located on Altura mountain on a paradisiacal coastline, from where you have a view of La Maddalena, Caprera and Santo Stefano islands.
The hotel rooms and common rooms are spread over several buildings, reminiscent of the characteristic stazzo buildings that characterize the Gallura area. The hotel is not recommended for children under 12 years, which is a good reason for choosing it if you are travelling without children. Here you will find a quiet environment just a short drive from Palau town (2 km) and Porto Raphael. You can go to the beautiful Sciumara beach by following a path through the Mediterranean shrubs, eucalyptus, myrtle and oak trees that reach all the way to the seashore.
In the main building you will find the bar, lounge and restaurant with panoramic terrace right next to the pool. At the reception you can connect to the Wi-Fi. We recommend that you arrive here by car and you will find of course parking at the hotel. for a fee you can rent umbrellas and deck chairs on the beach, and if you are feeling energetic you can try kayaking, boating and windsurfing on the beach. Mountain-bikes can also rented.
If you wish not to venture out and find restaurants at night, you can opt for half-board. Every night you can try the traditional specialties from the local area and the Mediterranean, and the chef is happy to cook for guests with special intolerances and allergies. If you want more freedom, then just choose the breakfast option that way you are free to plan excursions and eat at different places. Please note that the restaurant is closed for lunch.
There are 55 rooms at the hotel which are simply decorated and clean and neat. They are all located in the annex buildings, scattered around the garden and have a separate entrance. The sea views from rooms depends more or less on the amount of vegetation in front. They are equipped with air conditioning, a television, a mini-bar and a bathroom with a toilet, hairdryer and shower or bath. We recommend that you select rooms with a private terrace.
