Villa Rosmarino enjoys a beautiful and tranquil setting by a vantage point in the small Nature Reserve of Capo San Marco. The town has a restaurant and shops and is less than a kilometre from the house.
The house was built in the 1970s, when the council was planning to build a residential development in this area. Later the area became a Nature Reserve, and the four houses that were finished, are still standing. Today they are all used as summer houses for the hottest part of the year.

In order to get to the house you are granted a special permit, because only guests of this house, and the owners of the nearby other three, are allowed to drive through the Reserve. The gravel road from San Giovanni Sinis to the house is not very long (approx. 1 km), but very scenic as you drive on a small peninsula with water on both sides of the road.
The house is surrounded by a large garden, where you find the typical Mediterranean macchia vegetation as well as some tall and shady pine trees. The large terrace is the perfect place for spending some relaxed hours reading, enjoying meals or just sitting and letting life pass you by as you enjoy the amazing views. In the garden there is also a barbecue and parking facilities.
