San Teodoro is just 30 km from Olbia airport and not much further from the harbour of Golfo Aranci where you reach by boat if you are coming from the mainland. So once you land, or step onto the shore, you can quickly reach your hotel or apartment in San Teodoro and start your beach holiday in the sun.
Whilst some development did take place as the popularity of the area increased with visitors, a limit was placed on it so that it did not get overbuilt. As a result, the landscape is still very beautiful, and the centre of San Teodoro is a cute place, located on a small hill. You'll find numerous restaurants and cafes in the town, and parts of the town are closed to traffic during the evenings of the summer months so that you can wander safely.
You can choose from no less than 18 beaches that you can easily reach on foot or by car. La Cinta - is very beautiful and probably the most famous, but also Isuledda beach on the the south side of San Teodoro centre is very well known, and then there are the small bays such as Lu Impostu and Cala Brandinchi.

As we said, flying into Olbia airports just 30 km away is the best option. Once you are here, you can enjoy a beach holiday without a car, and there is also the possibility of boat trips along the coast and out to the beautiful Tavolara island where the snorkeling is an absolutely amazing experience and there are also caves and stunning white cliffs to see. If you want to see a bit of the countryside, we recommend that you hire a car. The island is mountainous and incredibly scenic. Take a trip up to Bitti, Orgosolo and Oliena in the Bargagia area around 1.5 hours away by car.
