Alcamo Marina offers an excellent sandy beach with views of Lo Zingaro on one side and of Punta Raisi to the other side. It is located approx. 6 km from Alcamo city and approx. 5 km from Castellammare del Golfo.
It is a small town consisting mainly of private homes that are occupied during the vacation months in the summer. The houses were built in the 50-s and 60-s with virtually no urban planning, which dominate the towns character as such. There are no shops or cafes in the city, yet you should expect to hear and see the usual Italian young people on their mopeds back and forth throughout the summer. The beach here is incredibly lovely and if you want to be alone then it is possible here. There is plenty of space and few crowds. It has very fine sand and is particularly child friendly.
