At Terrazza La Perla you are on the cosy piazza (square) of the small fishing village of San Gregorio, a small fishing village on the north coast of Sicily. The house is in front of a lovely beach and the views stretch right across to the Aeolian Islands. On clear days you can see all the way to the volcano Stromboli behind the islands of Lipari and Vulcano. You will find two restaurants in the village, one on the piazza below and the other just 100 metres away at Hotel Tartaruga.
If you choose this apartment, it's not to sit indoors. You enter from the road behind the house where you will find a large covered patio with greenery and plenty of space to rest in the shade. When you enter the apartment, you can choose to go out on the other side of two other terraces, both with sea views. All this for just two travellers who share a double bed.
The popular town of Capo d'Orlando is less than 2km along the coast road where visitors can find many shops, restaurants and bars/cafes.

The railway line between Palermo and Messina runs behind the house, so you have to be prepared for a little noise the few times during the day when the train passes (last train running around 21.00, and the first is around 06:00). Some find this noise a nuisance, others find it so insignificant that we should not mention it. There is no station in the Borgo San Gregorio, but in Capo d'Orlando (approx.2 km).
